VARESE AND NATALI TOGETHER FOR ANOTHER SEASON
lug 07, 2019
Openjobmetis Varese Basketball is pleased to have reached an agreement in renewing its contract with Nicola Natali. Natali has signed a one-year contract that will keep him at the Red & Whites club until the 2019/2020 season.
Nicola Natali, forward, Openjobmetis Varese Basketball: «When I arrived at Varese two years ago, I didn't know if I would be able to compete in Serie A, it was all a gamble. Today being reconfirmed for the third season in a row in prestigious Varese is a source of great pride for me. This is why I want to thank coach Attilio Caja and the whole club for the trust they have placed in me. I will give it everything I've got on court and off to help out the team. I can't wait to get going in the new season».
Nicola Natali grew up in the Montecatini nursery. In 2005, he was promoted to the first team where he played four seasons between the Legadue and Serie A Amateurs. He then moved to Trento, where he stayed for two years. In 2011, he returned to Legadue again donning a Forlì jersey. In the summer of 2013, he made an agreement with Barcelona (DNA Gold), and he was then called by Casale Monferrato, a team with whom he played for three seasons, earning his place in the quintet because of his great defensive abilities, his physicality and his particular talent for the rebound. He has been an Openjobmetis Varese Basketball player since the season 2017/2018.
