Varese Basketball and Varese Academy are pleased to announce the signing of Stefano Bizzozi. The Venetian coach, who was in Varese from 2012 to 2014, will be the new technical manager of the Youth Sector and Head Coach of the Under 18s. Bizzozi, born in 1960, will also be responsible for domestic and foreign recruitment for Varese Academy. With Stefano Bizzozi on board, Varese Academy will be able to count on a highly experienced technician with profound knowledge and who is a specialist in youth sector.

Stefano comes to Varese as technical manager of the youth sector and, consequently, will have to deal with all things technical. In Academy, he will be assisted by Fabio Colombo and myself for all that concerns strategy, management, programmes and objectives. But, as he already did in Rome, his main task will be to develop the youth sector, to raise it up to be in the top spot in Italy».
