MASSIMO BULLERI’S EMOTIONAL FAREWELL TO BASKETBALL
maggio 05, 2017
This morning on the boards of the court at PALA2A, Massimo Bulleri bade a farewell to basketball during a conference that included lifelong friends. It was an emotional time with many memories for the point guard from Cecina who will close an extraordinary career with Openjobmetis Varese Basketball on Sunday with a match in Turin
Bulleri's decision to go out at the age of 39 deprives the championship and Italian basketball of one of its top players at both the national and international level. Bulleri rounds off his competitive career after having won two Scudettos with Treviso, four Italian Cups, two Italian Supercups and, wearing a national jersey, he won a Silver at the Athens Olympics in 2004, a Bronze at the 2003 European Championships in Sweden, and a Bronze at the Mediterranean Games in Tunis in 2001.
