Three institutions have signed up, whose respective teams will compete on court at the Ennerxenia Arena for the trophy.
The tournament, which will be held on Monday 18 March, will feature about 60 Varese lower secondary school children. The Varese Vidoletti Institute, the San Fermo Don Rimoldi Comprehensive Institute, and the Buguggiate Don Gianfranco Pozzi lower secondary school have signed up for the Varese basketball project. The institutes have created 5 teams in which boys and girls of the first, second and third years of the lower secondary will play together. The top two teams will be in the final, which will be played at the Masnago sports arena before an Openjobmetis Varese Serie A Lega Basket game. The awards will take place during the interval. The matches will be played with 4 quarters, each of 8 minutes with regulation ball and baskets.
