Marco Vittorelli, the 20th chairman of Varese Basketball:

“It is a great honour for me to represent this wonderful team. All the new board members – with whom I instantly found great affinity and harmony – and I, would like to highlight that we will do everything in order for things to go as smoothly as possible. This is why during the first meeting we began to tackle the first of the commonplace problems that are inevitable in such an important phase. I am confident because it is a group of prestigious, experienced people who, I am sure, will be working with a lot of dedication for the good of Varese Basketball. It is still too early to talk about objectives, but we want to provide value to this historical company giving it a medium-term vision in order to generate value for both the company itself and to provide a result in the long term. A starting point will certainly be the passion of the fans that was re-established in the second half of last season. We will do everything in our power to keep it alive and alight, even through initiatives which, we hope, will benefit everyone”.
