“We won a tough, important game and played well with an eye on the details that we had studied during the week, as I had asked the boys to do. Pistoia was limited in their rhythm and we did well, except for when we came back in the last quarter, in not allowing them to do what they wanted to. We checked the court, were patient during the most critical moments, maintained clarity in defence and the result is clearly evident. We are very happy and my thanks go to all the players, but now it’s time to turn the page — we are expecting a great match on Wednesday.”
