With deep sorrow, Openjobmetis Varese Basketball mourns the death of Rolando Howell. He was at Varese from 2005 to 2007, and was 34 years old when he died of complications from a fall in which he broke his C5 vertebra. From a lengthy exit from South Carolina, he was an athletic and explosive player with the Red & Whites, who delighted the Masnago fans because of his spectacular play. He will be remembered for his immense generosity and affability that accompanied him on and off court. At this sad moment, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones. Goodbye Rolando.
