THE NEW OPENJOBMETIS SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN

The 2017-2018 Openjobmetis Varese Basketball season officially began today on the PALA2A parquet, which saw more than 400 people taking part in the traditional welcome for the fans at the beginning of the year.
Coach Attilio Caja and Assistant Coaches Matteo Jemoli, Raimondo Diamante and Massimo Bulleri greeted Aleksa Avramovic, Nicola Natali, Stanley Okoye, Matteo Tambone, Tyler Cain, Giancarlo Ferrero, Cameron Wells, Antabia Waller and Damian Hollis in addition to the younger players, Gianmarco De Vita, Marco Bergamaschi and Matteo Parravicini. In the not-too-distant future, Norvel Pelle, who is currently in the FIBA Asian Cup wearing a Lebanon jersey, will also be joining the group.
Openjobmetis, whose players have been undergoing the ritual medical tests today, will leave tomorrow morning for Chiavenna. The Red & Whites will train there in the gym at the Valchiavenna tourist area until Saturday, August 26, the day of the first friendly against Sam Massagno.
