The three-day exhibition, organised by Varese Basketball in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Red & White’s club, was a huge success. Held in the Campiotti Hall at the Chamber of Commerce in Varese, ‘70 Years of Varese Basketball - Images and Characters That Have Written Our Story’ was visited by more than a thousand people over three days. Fans, enthusiasts, and not only those who were curious but also old stars and the players of today, were able to reminisce and find out more about the glorious history of the Piazza Monte Grappa club, an example of excellence in Italian and European basketball.

During the exhibition, successful events and seminars were organised. On Friday 11, there was a discussion regarding the importance of the sport in the growth and development of children thanks to the exclusive appearance of Luca Stanchieri, director of the Italian School of Life & Corporate Coaching, who is a leading expert in the adolescent world. On Saturday there was a talk show called ‘Basketball Varese and Sports Journalism’ with Andrea Meneghin, Paul Vittori, Antonio Bulgheroni, Guido Borghi, Werther Pedrazzi and Flavio Vanetti. On Sunday the grand closing with ‘The Champions’ Autographs’, an autograph session for the photo book created for the anniversary celebration, which flew off the shelves.
