Legend of Varese Basketball, Romeo Sacchetti, will be the Scrutineer of the National Team in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers. The Chairman of the Italian Basketball Federation has chosen Meo Sacchetti to lead the ‘Azzurri’ to the world event that will be held in China and may lead to the Italian National Team to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Sacchetti's national debut will take place following EuroBasket 2017, on November 23, which will see Italy vs Romania, the first leg of the Group D qualifiers in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
