Varese Basketball announces that today, Stefano Coppa and the entire Board of Directors including Massimo Cozzi, Fabrizio Fiorini, Vittorio Gandini, Monica Salvestrin and Marco Vittorelli, have resigned from the post of chairman and managers of the Red & White’s Club. Varese Basketball and the ‘Varese nel Cuore’ Consortium would like to thank Stefano Coppa for the invaluable work he has carried out over the years, recognising the merit of having worked with great passion and dedication for the club’s growth which, thanks to his insight, extended to allowing the team to be in the Final Four of FIBA Europe Cup. Thanks also go to the entire Board of Directors for supporting the work of the Chairman in these years in office.

The ‘Varese nel Cuore’ Consortium has identified the future Board of Directors of Varese Basketball which will consist of Monica Salvestrin, Marco Vittorelli, Antonio Bulgheroni, Fabrizio Fiorini and Riccardo Polinelli. The new Red & White’s club board will meet in the coming days in order to appoint the roles of chairman, vice chairman and the mandates of the other members.
