‘Sponsor Day’ was held yesterday at Varese PalaWhirlpool. The event, organised by Varese Basketball, was dedicated to its sponsors a few weeks before the end of the 2015-2016 season.

After a welcome drink with the coaching staff and the Red & White players, Kristjan Kangur and Giancarlo Ferrero, the guests took part in a tour of PalaWhirlpool accompanied by exceptional speaker Massimo Ferraiuolo, team manager at the club in Piazza Monte Grappa, who highlighted the milestones in the history of Varese Basketball, from its inception to the present day. At the end of the tour, the sponsors made their way to the ‘Giancarlo Gualco’ Conference Room where Luna Tovaglieri and Mario Oioli, marketing manager and head of sport and organisation respectively, presented the results obtained in the last year both from the point of view of the sport, which resulted in second place in the FIBA Europe Cup, and also from the corporate point of view.
