“We knew from the physical point of view that the match against Ostend would be extremely tough,” said Paolo Moretti after the game. “We had prepared well and we were able to take the pace off our rivals and balance the match in our favour. I am particularly pleased with how the team reacted to the return of the home team, with unity and without being demoralized. We preferred to leave Ukic at home, because he was suffering from a slight back pain. I must say, though, that Wayns was an excellent substitute. I'm happy with his performance because he immediately integrated well with the team. Now we play the qualifier against Sodertalje, but the fact that we overturned the shot differential against Ostend will give us a very small chance to aim for the top spot.”
