Yesterday afternoon, the fourth stage of ‘Basketball: a school of life’ took place. The project, organised by Openjobmetis Varese Basketball, thanks to the contribution by TEVA and Brother Italia, puts Openjobmetis Varese Basketball players in direct contact with students in Varese and the province.

The main characters of the day were Giancarlo Ferrero and, more importantly, almost 200 students at the ICS Giovanni XXIII School in Marchirolo, who welcomed the Red & White forward with enthusiasm and warmth in the gymnasium.

Coordinated by Raffaella Dematté, the meeting took place so that the kids could get to know all the ins and outs of the life of Giancarlo, an athlete who has turned his hobby into a profession. The curious children asked the Piedmontese player many questions and he was eventually stormed for a hug and the usual group photo.
