“Our game lasted twenty minutes and unfortunately we have neither the strength in our legs nor the energy to last a full match against a team with this strength and energy. In the first two quarters we saw great moves forward, even for the game in the third quarter we made an extra effort, even in defence, on their pick 'n' roll. In the last quarter, we made mistakes, and this led to a large deficit, maybe even too much. However, the first 20 minutes were played out honourably, standing our ground against Milan. Our championship starts now, but we have to find the enthusiasm again that these two games have made us lose. The difference in the rebounds was huge and this has complicated the competition because we fluffed a couple of balls under the hoop in the decisive moments of the match. Apologies to the fans, but we must look ahead with confidence, and try to win the next home match.”
