This afternoon at the Bogno Sacro Cuore Primary School in Besozzo, the first meeting of ‘Basketball: a school of life’ was held. The project, organised by Openjobmetis Varese Basketball thanks to the contribution by TEVA and Brother Italia, brings players in direct contact with the students from Varese and the province.

Openjobmetis Captain, Daniele Cavaliero, was witness to the importance of the sport in raising children. “Basketball: Sport as a Training Ground for the Pursuit of Happiness and Self-Realisation”, was the slogan that Daniele, accompanied by the invaluable Raffaella Demattè, analysed together with the students from Besozzo.

After some time spent asking and answering the students’ interesting and enjoyable questions, the meeting at the Sacro Cuore Primary School concluded with the traditional group photo and the signing of autographs..
