The first Consortium Competition organised by Openjobmetis Varese Basketball and the ‘Varese in the Heart’ Consortium has been a true success. Basketball returned to Palasport in Masnago in September with a good turnout of fans who cheered enthusiastically during the two-day tournament. However, the Consortium Competition was also played away from the court in Masnago. At the Palace Hotel in Varese on Saturday, a parallel B2B Matching was organised involving the consortia of Pesaro, Trento, Varese and Siena. This was an event that allowed companies who are registered in the ‘Team Business’ matching to meet other organisations and institutions in Varese and elsewhere. The contest was useful in widening the network of contacts that will allow listed companies to acquire new customers and new suppliers.
