BULLERI CONCLUDES MAGNIFICENT CAREER AT VARESE

Varese-Cremona and Torino-Varese will be the last two official matches for Massimo Bulleri. Cecina's playmaker has decided to leave basketball by topping off a wonderful career at Openjobmetis Varese Basketball. The ‘Bullo’ arrived at Varese last summer to assist the Red & Whites during the preparation phase of the championship, and was then taken on for the 2016/2017 season, bringing his professionalism to work on a daily basis, and his skills and experience that has proved to be very useful for the team. Bulleri's decision to go out at the age of 39 deprives the championship and Italian basketball of one of its top players at both national and international levels. Bulleri rounds off his competitive career after having won two Scudettos with Treviso, four Italian Cups, and two Italian Supercups and, wearing a national jersey, he won a Silver at the Athens Olympics in 2004, a Bronze at the 2003 European Championships in Sweden, and a Bronze at the Mediterranean Games in Tunis in 2001.
