Pallacanestro Openjobmetis Varese, together with the Association Amici della Pallacanestro Varese ONLUS and the social promotion association Amici del Campetto, is going to organize the traditional BASKET FEST, i.e. a two-day basketball event (with 3vs3 basketball tournaments), music and good food, which is scheduled to take place on June 13 and 14 at the courts of Campus Varese (via L. Pirandello, 31 – Varese).

THE TOURNAMENT

Everybody can participate, from certified athletes to mere amateurs! The teams may include maximum 4 players. The prizes at stake are many, including DELTA AIRLINES flight tickets, NILOX video cameras, BEKO loudspeakers, BROTHER printers…and much more!

The 3vs3 categories:

• Men’s senior teams (as from 1998)

• Women’s senior teams (as from 1998)

• Under 15/Under 16 (1999-2000)

• Under 13/Under 14 (2001-2002)

• Mini-basketball A (2003-2004)

• Mini-basketball B (2005-2006)

• Mini-basketball C (2007-2008-2009)

Registrations must be submitted by Thursday, 11th June 2015..

The winning teams of the Senior tournaments shall automatically qualify for the “Streetball Italian Tour” finals scheduled to take place in Riccione from July 24 through 26, 2015.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Thanks to the partnership with TWIGGY CAFE’, a Delicatessen Stand shall be set up and remain available throughout the event.

SIDE EVENTS

• On Saturday, June 13 at 7 p.m., cocktail party with 101% Rugby Varese and DJ Set with Deiv Binda in cooperation with Twiggy Cafè.

• On Sunday, June 14 at 8 p.m., the wheelchair basketball team Cimberio Handicap Sport Varese shall play a demo exhibition game.

• The hip-hop dance crew New Crazy Life shall perform on the courts between games.
