VARESE-Z MOBILE PRISHTINA: THE PRESS ROOM

Coach Attilio Caja at the end of Varese Basketball-Z Mobile Prishtina

«The most important thing tonight was to have a good approach. Last Sunday's defeat at Avellino was very difficult to accept. Everyone, from the staff to the players, we were very upset about how it turned out. After a day to recharge our batteries, luckily there was immediately another match so that we could pick up the thread. We recharged and, today, we did some good things in defence straight away and managed to have good pace in attack. And, with the right rhythm, we managed to get some good shooting percentages. Tonight's game was one where we were in control, where we never had any problems. Today, we got the confirmation and positive feedback from many players. In particular, I am very happy with Ronald Moore's game – he had been suffering for not being able to give us the performance he had given us in the first thirteen days. And in these cases, it's very easy to throw in the towel and forget what he did in the first part of the season. He hadn't done this lately, but this had never been a problem. On Sunday, he made mistakes, as did many others. But he continued to work with a lot of energy and today I am happy with his performance. I'm happy for him but I'm also happy for Thomas Scrubb, who played equally well. We have got through another round of the cup and we are obviously happy with this. We always try to do our best and face every game with the utmost seriousness. Even today, the team has demonstrated these characteristics».
