VARESE AND COACH ATTILIO CAJA TOGETHER UNTIL 2022
May 28, 2019
Openjobmetis Varese Basketball is proud to announce that an agreement has been reached in renewing Attilio Caja's contract. The coach from Pavia, showing a great deal of affection and trust regarding the Red & Whites, will continue to play the role of head coach of the first team until the end of the 2021-2022 season. Putting Attilio Caja coach back on the bench is an important step that will enable Varese Basketball to avail itself of the collaboration for three more seasons with a consummate professional who has Varese in his heart and, in all these years at the foot of Sacro Monte, has never failed to contribute both on court and off.
Attilio Caja, Coach, Openjobmetis Varese Basketball: «I thank the company, and especially Toto Bulgheroni, for the trust they have placed in me, which gratifies me a lot, makes me responsible and naturally commits me to give my all to try to pay back what has been given me. A wonderful atmosphere has been created in Varese and on Sundays at home, we have always been able to put on an emotional display for our fans. Seeing so many happy fans for what the team has managed to piece together on court over the years is extremely satisfying – we have been able to win 12 victories together in Masnago. And our fans have been with us even during times of defeat, because they still supported the boys right up to the end, and appreciated their commitment and their courage. This, of course, has always spurred us on to do our best. Today, with Toto Bulgheroni and Andrea Conti, we are already working hard to keep up this positive atmosphere and to try to achieve the best possible results».
