LORENZO MOLINARO: A NEW ENTRY FOR PALLACANESTRO VARESE

Pallacanestro Varese has reached an agreement with Lorenzo Molinaro. This athlete from San Daniele del Friuli, who played at Agropoli in the Serie B championship last season, signed a three-year contract with an option for the club to terminate it at the end of the second year.

Lorenzo Molinaro grew up with the youth team of Snaidero Udine and made his debut in the First Team in the 2009/10 Legadue championship. In the summer of 2011, he started playing with DNA in Treviglio, and stayed with that team for two seasons (scoring 3.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10 minutes of play in the last year). Then, he signed up with the Trento team, with which he was promoted to the Serie A. Last season in Agropoli (serie B) he averaged 10,6 points and 7.8 rebounds, helping the club to reach the Final Four in its category. Thanks to his remarkable physical impact and excellent abilities as a jumper, in 2010 he participated in the slam dunk contest of the Legadue and was called into the Development National Team for the 2013 China Tour.
