ANTABIA WALLER, NEW SIGN-UP FOR VARESE BASKETBALL
Jun 18, 2017
Openjobmetis Varese Basketball is pleased to announce the future engagement of Antabia Waller. American Guard of 1988, Waller has signed a two-year contract that will bind him to the Red & Whites until the end of the 2018/2019 season. In his first stint in the Italian championships, Waller is a complete player. He is a solid defender and effective striker, and can be dangerous both from the perimeter and in his approach to the basket.
Attilio Caja, Openjobmetis Varese Basketball Trainer: «Antabia is a player who has amazed us by his offensive qualities and his twofold ability of being able to play well both with and without the ball. In his career he has played well in championships and has distinguished himself even against high-level teams, especially in the Adriatic League. We think he could have the right mind-set to compete with us in the Italian championship. We saw in him a great deal of motivation and a desire to get involved».
